8 square meters mozaik panel, showing sadam husseinand his 2 sons.Sadam is just captured and looks confused with his bewilderd beard and is accomanied on both sides by his 2 sons who are just shot dead by American special forces.The pictures are taken from the images that went all over the world by the media, the "proof" that is supposed to justify the war in Iraq.The piece is at one hand a traditional war memorial but has also a way more intimate dimension, that of a family portrait.Therfore the piece is as open for interpretation as the images that happen to receive us through the media.It's in the eye of the beholder.
