Comissioned work for the city Hoogvliet, Holland. A crossover between a billboard and a oldschool monument, made mainly out of glassmozaik. Propaganda and a tribute the same time, both in design as well as content.Different typical elements of the town feature in the design, with most eye cathing the persona of "Ome Jan", a Boxing trainer who not alone trained the olympic medal winner Regilio Tuur (from Hoogvliet!) but maybe even more important,he is thedriving force of "opboxen" a project to educate end help "difficult youth" from the town for a better future, in the boxing school.
