Royal Mile
Oh yeah, this was sad. A design for a crossroads in a big forrestpark in Apeldoorn. The park hosts not only a landscape art biennale but a whole mokeyzoo as well as a deerfarm. This crossroad is a true hub off all the roads leading to the different attractions. With my favorite color conrete tiles I designed this. The committee leader however was very negative,she wanted some conceptual piece of shit to piss off the people in the park.What I dont get with situations like these is why the hell they invite me. The same woman totally blocked a possible piece of mine elswhere in Holland, by telling the curator that she would never ever tolerate a work by "that artist",redfaced offcourse. Pretty cool indeed. Funny or rather sad thing is that the design that did win the pitch was never realised, well done!
