War Memorial Monument

At the "Battlefield" show @ P//AKT in Amsterdam, premiered the updated War Memorial Monument I am working on. On the same scale as the earlier produced "A Royal Family Portrait" (see below) a work was made featuringanother aspekt of the war, the"succesors", again based on news footage from the web/and televison, and game graphics, in design refering to optimistic propaganda styles such as used in the "wachtower" magazine by the jehova witneses. The pieces was made with support from FBKVB (a dutch art fund) and produced by Sander Belou from S.W.A.T. media.
